Ratings: Criminal Minds No. 200 Hits a 21-Month High, Idol Ticks up, Tomorrow People Drops

Ratings Criminal Minds 200CBS’ Criminal Minds marked a milestone in style on Wednesday night, as its 200th episode drew 12.8 million total viewers — up 23 percent from its previous fresh episode to deliver the crime drama’s largest audience since May 2012 — and surged 27 percent in the demo to match its season high rating of 2.8.

Leading out of that, CSIenjoyed its second largest audience of the season (11 mil) while rising 25 percent in the demo, to a time slot-leading 2.0.

Leading Wednesday in both measures was Fox’s American Idol, which with 13.3 million viewers and a 3.9 rating saw its first week-to-week uptick of the season, rising 5 percent and one tenth. (Last season, Idol didn’t enjoy a week-to-week gain until April.)
